01_temple_emanuel_grand_rapids_miTemple Emanuel is a warm and inviting community of diverse members who come together to celebrate, worship, study, serve, socialize, and play.

Since 1857 our congregation has been the center of Reform Jewish Life in West Michigan. We are active in both Jewish and secular causes.

Our close knit congregation of 270 members, proudly serves nearly fifty families every month from our Food Bank. We are active in the greater Grand Rapids community supporting family programs at the YWCA, the Veterans Hospital, adult literacy, and many West Michigan Social Service Agencies.

We have a movie night one Sunday each month and offer many cultural, educational and social activities.

Please feel free to join us for Shabbat evening services each Friday at 6:15 p.m. If you are a visitor from out of town, let us know you are coming so we can keep an eye out for you. Call the office at 616.459.5976 ext. 1 or contact us via our web site form.
