President's Column

Ask any past or current Temple President: “Who runs the Temple?” If any answered anything other than Mary Schwartz they would be lying to you. If you asked any past or current President, “could you have been a successful president without the extensive help and institutional knowledge that Mary possesses” they would inevitably respond, “NO!”

Have you seen the new face at temple? Please say hello to Ted Engstrom. Ted started December 1st as our new custodian. Ted comes to temple with over 30 years experience with the Wyoming school district. We are very excited to have him join our team and we are already seeing the impact he is making on our facility and organization. Please make it a point to say hello, introduce yourself and make Ted feel a part of the family.

As I write this months newsletter Temple has been and continues to be very busy this fall. This past weekend we had a very successful Saturday night event sponsored by the Tom & Mickie Fox Family Endowment.

 

These are the remarks I made at our Erev Rosh Hashanah on Wednesday evening, September 28.

It, of course, has been a busy year as always here at temple. Rather than reiterate all that has taken place over the past year, I would like to point out one of the great highlights of the year, and that is the re-contracting of our Rabbi.
